FIRE & FRAGRANCE SA - GAP YEAR EXPERIENCE
​The Fire & Fragrance Gap Year Experience is a training school divided into 3 courses.
FFX:
Aims to equip and activate the next generation to live in whole-hearted obedience to God.
It is a seven-week discipleship and ministry training experience, with four weeks of international outreach. You will be equipped to hear God’s voice and proclaim the gospel with confidence. As you encounter God, serve others and step out in faith, you will discover your place in His missions and the nations.
FFBX:
The Fire & Fragrance Bible Experience aims to form you through the study of the word of God, and discover the beauty of His story from Genesis to Revelation.
This twelve-week school will equip you with practical tools to study Scripture for yourself. You will move beyond reading the bible to being shaped by it. Allow God’s word to disciple your heart, renew your mind and transform the way you live. Be rooted in truth, formed by Scripture, and equipped to carry God’s story to every area of life.
FFWX:
The Fire & Fragrance Worldview School aims to transform your mind through training you in a biblical worldview.
In the school, you will discover God’s heart for His world and uncover your role in His redemptive plan, and be equipped to pursue your calling with clarity. You will explore a biblical worldview and engage with every sphere of society; you will learn how faith shapes cultures, leadership, vocation and influence.

Questions you might have
Our desire is to equip young people into a missional lifestyle. The FFSA Gap-year experience exists to train young people, equip them with a bible overview and train them in a biblical worldview. Our GAP year program is a full-year, integrated journey, so it can't be broken into separate parts. Each course is essential for the full experience.
Yes, if you have graduated a DTS on a YWAM base or a FFX with another Fire & Fragrance base you can still join the FFSAX. You can use the same application link and would be joining the FFBX and FFWX.
Yes, if you'd like to you are able to go home or travel during break-times between courses.
Once you are accepted into the course you will receive an acceptance letter. With the letter you will be able to reach out to our visa office to get all papers needed to apply for a visa.
The price includes for FFX: Lecture phase fee, accommodation, lunches, your outreach (incl. travel to your Outreach location and back to South Africa, accommodation as well as all meals)

The price includes for FFBX and FFWX: Lecture phase fee and accommodation.

Not included are:
Breakfast and dinner for FFX as well as meals during FFBX and FFWX (there are student kitchens available in your accommodation), travel from your Home-country and back, health insurance, medical treatments and any personal needs you might have.
